Gas guzzler:
A vehicle which uses an above average amount of petrol per km.

Small hydrogen bubbles rising to the top of the battery electrolyte during battery charging.

Glow plug:
A heating device used to start diesel engines, instead of the standard spark plug in a petrol vehicle.

A disk shaped rubber coupler, which goes between the transmission and drive shaft to dampen shock and vibration on some vehicles.
