First off, tell us about your first and favourite cars.
My favourite car is a Toyota, 80 Series Landcruiser, 1993-1997. My first car was a White Ford EA Falcon, 1990
What do you like to do you when you’re not working?
My favourite pastime is four wheel driving.
What made you want to be a mechanic?
I always wanted to be a motor mechanic, it came from an interest in motorsport and machinery in general. The best thing about being a mechanic is the feeling you get when you solve a big, complex problem. The sense of pride you feel when you finish a big job and just go “wow”.
What’s your automotive specialty?
Bulk diagnosis and breakdown repairs. I’m particularly good with American trucks.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Listen to the older drivers. They’ve been driving their whole lives. They know the trucks really well. They feel the truck and they know when something is not right.
Tell us about your community
I live in Werribee, VIC. I love that Werribee is close to the city, but it feels like you’re in the country. My favourite pub is the The Park Hotel, and the Black Seed café has the best coffee. I love Werribee South and the area around Werribee Mansion.
